Public Meeting to discuss the future of Millom Hospital

Following on from his meeting with Cumbria Partnership Foundation Trust, Copeland MP and Shadow Health Minister, Jamie Reed is hosting a public meeting to ensure the public can have their say on the future of the hospital.
The meeting will be held at the Beggar’s Theatre, Market Square in Millom at 5pm on Friday 16thMay.
Copeland MP and Shadow Health Minister Jamie Reed said:

“Following on from the very constructive meeting I had with Cumbria Partnership Foundation Trust last week, it is crucial that the local community are involved in developing Millom Hospital for the future.
“I will be chairing a public meeting on Friday 16th May at 5pm.  It will be held at Beggar’s Theatre in Millom and I would encourage everyone to come along to contribute. The community campaign has been pivotal in ensuring that the hospital beds will be reopened, but we need to go further.

“It is essential that Millom Hospital continues to serve the community and that local residents are involved in securing and improving services for the future.”
